CoffeeTheCreator (otherwise known as Coffee or CoffeeTheEditor) is a Moroccan video editor and a YouTuber. He started his current YouTube channel CoffeeTheCreator on the 23rd of September 2021. His original character persona is inspired by the anime character Nishikata from the Anime series "Teasing Master Takagi-san".

Past Content

He began making content on YouTube since 2016, but his online career started after he created a YouTube channel under the username Spacetooner - سبيستونر in June 2019, where he made YTPs of cartoon shows[1], he began making those videos since the beginning of 2020, but his first video on the channel was uploaded in August of 2019.

He changed his online alias changed from Spacetooner to Coffee in that year but never changed his channel username.

PixleX

In June 2020, a YouTube channel was created under the name "PixleX", a channel that was inspired by the cartoon community that was made by Pixle. In January of 2021, Coffee decided to join the channel to become a team member of PixleX. He helped editing some videos for the channel.

The first video he edited on that channel was an analysis and review of the movie "Codename: Kids Next Door - Operation Z.E.R.O"

Later that year he would continue editing videos on the channel up until April of the same year. The last video he edited was "PixleX | Spacetoon Story", a video essay that talks about the story of the TV channel SpaceToon, and discusses topics such as the old and new shows featured on the channel, the planets, the channel's censorship, and how the new rebrand of the channel was terrible.

The video was edited and written by Coffee himself. The video had poor research and was mainly focusing on the nostalgic aspect of the channel. Regardless, the video was a success, gathering over 4000 views in the span of a year, and soon after, it became the second most popular video on the channel.

In July of 2022, Pixle - the owner of the channel - would quickly make all of the videos on the channel private[2], and in March of the following year, he would make an update video on his channel, stating that he had quit PixleX.[3]

Webaizer

In the summer of 2021, Coffee would get invited to be a team member of Webaizer, one of the most popular and well known YouTube channels in the Arabic cartoon community. He then joined the team. The first video he edited on that channel was the second installment of a series called "Webaizer's Nominations", where the host "Omar" would list his most recommended cartoon shows to watch.

His editing skills kept on improving ever since, and he had also contributed to many other series on the channel, including the "Analysis of All Ben 10 Aliens" series, and the "Best Adventure Time Series?" episode, that inspired Kave to improve his editing style.

The last video that he edited on the channel was uploaded on the 26th of August 2022, which would be the last video on the channel, soon later Coffee would quit the channel after months of channel inactivity.

Omar would make an update video a year later clarifying that he will not be uploading to the channel for the time being.[4]

AniMates

In 2022, Coffee would interact with some members of the AniMates team, and would soon join an editing competition, Coffee was in second place and the contributions he made inspired the members of the team to invite him. And in Late 2022, Coffee would join the AniMates team, one of the most unique and widely known channels within the Arabic cartoon community.

The first video he edited on the AniMates YouTube channel was the first episode of the "How Was It Born?" series, A series where Abdou - the host - talks about the history and the origin of the most beloved cartoon shows.

Since then the video skyrocketed in popularity, and it became one of the most viewed videos on the channel, gaining over 542,000 views.

He would later contribute to the "Monthly News" series and some other stand-alone videos[5], and with each video, Coffee became more recognized in the community.

One of the issues regarding the AniMates videos he edited was that the videos were not fitting to the channel's editing style, since AniMates adopted the techniques Kave uses in his style.

He would continue making videos for the channel until October of 2024, and he would quit being a full-time video editor soon later.

Other contributions

Coffee has worked as a video editor with other YouTubers before, such as A7mad Speaks, specifically for his series "YouTubers' League". A gameshow where Ahmad (the host) interviews a bunch of other YouTubers as guests and gives them questions to answer, and for every right answer the guest gets a point, and the guest who gets the highest number of points wins the league. The series had 4 episodes and has abruptly been closed in December of 2023.[6] Coffee has also worked with Gaming Center on 33 short-form videos before leaving the team in June of 2024.[7]

Coffee's recent content

Coffee had uploaded a bunch of random YTPs to his channel "CoffeeMc'Coffee", but then unlisted the videos months later.[8]

He would later start uploading less videos on his "Spacetooner" YouTube channel and would focus more on his new main channel "CoffeeTheEditor" (now "CoffeeTheCreator")

In Late 2023, Coffee began making a series of tutorial videos where he explained how to achieve certain effects on video editing software such as MAGIX VEGAS Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects,

After 3 episodes, he would stop making those tutorial videos on YouTube and has unlisted them.[9]

He would move on to make short-form tutorials on his Instagram page, where he explains certain tips and tricks in video editing, the first one being about the J-Cut[10] which grew viral soon after uploading. The video would gain over 33,000 views and he would continue making random videos as Instagram stories.

He now has an alternative channel named CoffeeNotHere.

Recent collaborations

His recent collaboration was on a video by GHosTI15, he was featured in the introduction of the video along with other segments.[11]
